    Need to use Workbook Open and Close Events

    Hi everyone,

    I have a nice little Excel app I created for a department here at work and I'm trying to make it so when a user opens it all worksheet tabs and all Excel menus are not visible, and then for it to save the workbook and set the tabs and menus all back to default when the workbook is closed. This is something new to me that I'm not having any luck finding references to online. I've made macro buttons for navigation between the sheets and I want to make as much room as possible available for the app data on the screen otherwise. If you have a good reference for me to look at or if you can provide the specific code for this, please let me know.

    Hi BeachRock,

    Try the following to hide (unhide) all tabs (tested in Excel 2003).
    It hides ALL TABS, but the 'Active Sheet' and it's contents are still visible,
    and can be modified.
