Cleaner code

I have enclosed a workbook that I feel the VBA code is clunky. I pieced it together myself so any suggestions would be appreciated.
PS normally this workbook is a shared file.

I was also wondering how to put error code into this program. I keep getting a 1004 error once and a while.
