extract and maintain font color

suppose I have a text string in A1 like "ABC3345ssewouwo", I want to extract "A" into B1, and "B" into C1, etc, and maintain the font and color. Any thought?

What's the logic behind choosing "A" and "B"? always the first and second character respectively?

Yes. 1st character to B1, 2nd to C1, 3rd to D1, 4th to E1, etc. MID can extract but doesn't maintain the font and/or color.
