Get Date from filename using excel vba

I have a file filename-one-somedate. I need to get date to my column A. Please help

Give us a true example of the file name, so that it can be parsed appropriately.
This code will give you the full file name for the file that is open. But without a real life example, I don't know how to separate the date from the full name.
