    Filter data based on two variables(between two values)

    Sir

    i am attaching here with my sample sheet in which i want to insert two button on which i which insert two codes:

    One-by name filter by dob
    second-by name filter by doj

    what i req is when i press filter by dob button it ask enter dob range dates(both inclusive)
    and i can enter there 1-08-1988:15-05-2003

    and by these range my entire sheet can be filtered/sort based on dob column-between these two values date data should be there

    similarly when i press filter by doj tab it aske enter doj range dates(both inclusive)
    and i can enter there 1-08-1990:15-05-2012

    and by these range my entire sheet can be filtered/sort based on doj column-between these two values date data should be there

    This was the code i was using earlier to delete specific rows: kindle help to modify this to suit this need if possible

    Is it that much diff that given code cant be modified or fresh cnt be made for this

    The problem is that in fact your dates are text that looks like dates. If you use real dates in DOB column then this macro will do what you need.

    Sir my data comes like this...and dates are in text format that is why this problem in sorting is arising else we can filter using data filter in the excel

    that is why macro was req..which can first convert them internally then interpret then sort...
