    Adding missing entries and updating existing ones

    Hi,

    I have a master list of two columns: product ID's and quantities. Every day this list needs updating with changes to some quantities and some new ID's that need adding.

    Is their a macro I can use to do all this? I have vlookup formulas that add or subtract to existing quantities and identify ID's that aren't on the database but a macro that could do this all would be far more time effiecient.

    Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Please see attached example. It is a very small, desenstised example. On the left is the existing master list, in the middle the update that comes in every morning and on the right the updated spreadsheet.

    Press Alt+D+P>>Select Multiple Consolidation Ranges>>Click Next>> Click Next>>Selec the range $A$3:$B$20 using mouse (Including Header)>>Click Add>>Select the range $D$6:$E$14 (Including Header)>>Click Add>>Click Next>>Click Existing Worksheet>>Select the cell>>Press Ok..

    Now you will see a consolidate data
