Rota problem

Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I'm new to excel and rotas.

The company i work for have hand wrote rota for years but now have changed to putting them on excel.

The problem i have is i can't seem to work out the formula to add the hours up and put them in the total.

The rota has to stay like it is i can't change the design.

I have made a simple of the rota to show you guys.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Welcome to the forum!
I think you should have posted it in excel formula section. This is a VBA code section.
I do not know how you format your date.
My code assumes that the second time is always greater than the first one, i.e. 8-11, 8 is the first one.
The code deducts the second from the first and add all columns from C-H.
You may be better off with formula and you may need to post it on the formula section.
My code is just an option.
