How to ask user to input value into a cell, then use in VBA code

Hello,

I would like to setup a worksheet that is linked to existing VBA code. What I want to do is to for a given cell, when the user moves the cursor over the cell a prompt appears. This would say something like "enter value", or a yes/no selection. Based on the input, the VBA code could then run with that user input. Is there an easy way to integrate this?

It seems quite complex though. Have you considered an input box in your macro? The user could start the macro and then be prompted to fill in a value for the cell which could then be used as a value in your code.
