Hi All
I've searched high and low across the internet for a solution, but I've been coming up against brick walls on this one.
I've attached a sample sheet.
The tab New Data will be from a report run from someone each month, and the historic data will keep a record each time the report is run - so next month, the data in the New Data tab now, will be at the bottom of the historic data tab.
That's not the problem - the problem is:
When a New Data is added, it's possible that it could match a row in the historic data tab. The Name's, assignment number, employee number, country can all be the same but not duplicates, as they may be sent back on the same project - but the assignment dates would most likely be identical.
What I would like to do is get a VBA Code to copy any duplicated rows from New Data and Historic Data into the Possible Duplicates tab, but keeping the originals in their original place, for the user to manually review.
Ideally it would also identify if there is a, say 98% duplicate, but the assignment date has had an amendment - for instance it is in Historic Data as 10/08/2013 start date, but 12/08/2013 on New Data.
I know the last paragraph is probably really unlikely, but if anyone could help with the duplicate matter would really appreciate it.
