Advice and help with a copy past code or filldown formula code

    Hi Everyone

I'm looking for advice from the experts as I do not really know the best way to go. So any advice is appreciated.

I have a spreadsheet where staff enter data in Sheet 1
Sheet 2 breaks down the information more, data from the input sheet is currently coppied using formula to second sheet. I need the data duplicated on both sheets to save the viewers of the second sheet jumping back and forward. Most users only knowledge of excel is to view data.

I would like code to copy the data entered on sheet 1 over to the appropriate range in sheet 2 (dynamic range) and copy the rows formula down.

Is this a possible I have been recording macros to get an idea of how to do this but I am unsure the best way to go.

    Thanks in advance

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    New TEST Metering Audit.xls

    Hi Alansidman

I have uploaded a test version.

I am looking to automate the sheets so that when the data is entered in the FD Input sheet or deleted the same action will take place on the metering sheet. Also I currently have a lot of formula on the metering sheet. I am presuming I would not need the formula in columns C:J but I would need the formulas in the other columns to filldown to work.

Here is my sheet, normally whenever I upload it everyone wants me to change it so I do all my calculation on the first sheet. The reason I have laid it out this way is I do not want anyone having to amend formulas or have to extend ranges etc they just should drop the data into the first sheet and add the extra info.. The second sheet is where other people will look for the data that concerns them. Hope this makes sense
