    Question Excel 2010 copy selected range to text

    Hi all

    I have already been locking several times for a solution for my issue, which really would make my work easier.
    But I havn't been successfull so far.

    Does someone knows a way, how to copy selected range "as text" so i could paste it into another application?
    Probably with a macro?
    If I copy it manually my Lotus Notes only reply's "Only text can be pasted into this type of field"..

    i always have to do a 2nd step to copy it to a notepad and then paste it into Lotus Notes.

    I considered other solutions like autohotkey and so on.. but might someone has a solution to this?

    Not sure if it will be applicable to your situation but if you select the text in the formula bar rather than the cell it will copy it "as text"

    yes of course, but not when i want to paste a whole range...

    I'd assume not then. You would probably have to write the macro to populate a text file and then copy the contents of the text file.
