Making multiple pdf files from from large amount of data

We are investigating if it is possible to do the following: We have a large amount of data that we want to format into X numbers of pdf files? If there are other people that have done something similar I would like to know.
To clarified the assignment: We have multiple sheets that contain data for many different customers, we want to have a graphical overview for each customer but we don’t want to build a huge number of sheet or a really long sheet contain all the data for each customers. Instead we want to insert one costumer into a simple graphical sheet save that into a pdf file, then take the next customer and so forth. I hope it made sense and you have an idea if it is possible

There's 2 different ways you can do this.

You can build the form in adobe. Then you can use excel to create xml files and that can be imported into the form.

The other option is to create a template form in excel, transfer that data into that form then save that form as a pdf.

It depends on what you plan to do with the pdf after its made, if you use the xml way, you can allow users to make edits on the pdf, the SaveAs pdf option is permanent, no changes can be made to the pdf.

Is it possible to make a script so it makes X number of pdf files automatically from inside excel (VBA??)? I'm a embedded programmer but I have never played with excel programming, and I wants to know what is possible before spending way to much time on something that is not durable.
