Macro to select day of the week and filter on users name

Hi, what I’m trying achieve is to have a button on the ‘Reports’ tab which when pressed will run a macro that :-

    (a) display the list of names from column ‘A’ on the ‘Who’ tab which allows you to select a specific name and then.. .
    (b) adds a filter to row 2 on the ‘Reports’ tab and filters on the name you selected (column a) and then displays the column for the corresponding day of the week…e.g. so if you selected Anita and today was Tuesday 01/10/2013 (uk date)
it would only show the reports for Anita for that day (please see attached example)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated…

    Many thanks in advance

    Regards

    Rob

    Hulepeloos,

thanks for your reply, it appears you only added a manual filter as I cannot see any macro code...what I was after was the macro code to add to the command button so it would be automated.

    Any ideas ?

    any ideas ?

    2 things come to mind
-it might still have the columns hidden, can you check ?
-it takes the date in the format of your locall settings , so please duoble check it coresponds with whats in your row2
