Filter Table with values based in worksheet

I'm trying to filter a table between 2 dates but when I run the script the filter appears to have run correctly but nothing shows.

I then manually go in the field filter and the correct dates show in the filter, I then press ok and the correct records now appear.

Not sure why the table is empty until I go in manually and hit ok.

Any suggestions appreciated.
