    Column Header Help

    Hi All

I'm not majorly new to VBA, but this is the first time in a while I have tried to create a Macro in Excel 2003.

What I need is for a button I have on a sheet, that when clicked, the column lets say D is shifted to the right (in essence a new column is inserted) and the header is changed from D to todays date

I have the insert cells programmed fine, but does anyone know how to change the column header from D to todays date. I know it can be done in Excel 2007 as I've used a workbook that did exactly that, but I cannot get it to work in 2003

    Thanks

    Re: Column Header Help

    Hello vba-newbie,

    Welcome to the Forum.

Column D. when shifted to the right will bcome Column E. Is it Column E or Column D where you want the Date to show?

    Re: Column Header Help

    Hi

    Thanks for the info.

What I used before was it would be Column D that has the current date set, and when everything shifted to the right column E would have yesterdays date and column D would display todays date
