Macro: User Form to update a table

    Hi

I have a table recording details of attendees of courses. There are common and variable entries columns) for each attendee (row)

    Common: Venue, Date, Teacher, Course.
Variable ( and specific to attendee): Role, Place of work,

So if there are 40 attendees then currently I have to enter the common fields for all attendees 40 times !!

Is there a way of having input boxes/ user form which asks for the common fields and then automatically updates the table?

I enclose an example of what I need:

Is a Macro required? If so that alone would be useful to know. I am only just starting out with macros.

If the Venue/Date/Teacher/Course are always the same throughout the rows, why not just copy and paste?

I could just copy and paste, click and drag down etc, but this excel sheet is to be used by people who are not at all familiar with excel.

Also not alwsys that simple - an example is date, if you click and drag/copy date excel will add one day each row.

A simple user friendly user form to complete the table would be ideal and useful for many applications.
I know for vba writers this sort of thing is very easy, i have seen examples in the past, but alas I have only basic vba skills.

Well, fair enough, there could be people who don't know how to use copy and paste functions. But you would have to post a sample workbook in order for others to help you more effectively.
