Dear Friends,
In my database I want to filter districts and talukas as per my requirement. I have created a macro for it but it requires to create several macros for all items which is very laborious job. I wish to avoid it by creating a input box for the item to be filter so that I have not create a separate macro for each item. In my database I want to create auto filter macro for 'District' and 'talukas' column 'h and i'. I want to create a list of items to select for filtration as follow:
There are 35 districts and about 350 talukas in it for which I have to create a auto filter macro that means I have to create about about 400 macros for it which I want to avoid.
Conditions:
1. District: If I want to filter only by district and not taluka then the input box I have to select the name of district and the taluka input box will be empty. This macro will give me a output of district only.
2. In taluka column I have created a dependent drop down list for districts. That means if I select district 'Nashik' then the talukas of Nashik will be display.
For taluka macro:
If I want to filter the taluka 'Nashik' from Nashik district then in input box I have to select 'Nashik' in district input box and 'Nashik' in taluka input box. The result will be the Nashik taluka in Nashik district only.
Please help me to solve this problem.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Mukesh
