    LockXLS Error

    Hey Guys!

I created a macro-enabled spreadsheet that I'm looking to sell, and protected it with Serial # activation using LockXLS.

However, there are a couple of different problems:

On some computers when I open the protected file I instantly get an error message: "Excel cannot open the file 'test.xlsm' because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file".

On other computers, the User Agreement window shows correctly, followed by the prompt for a Customer ID and Serial #. However, once valid registration info is entered, the error Microsoft Excel has stopped working pops up and the program closes. Upon reopening it, it no longer asks for a Serial #, but continues to get the 'stop working' error and close.

Does anyone have any experience with LockXLS?

    Thanks!
    Matt
