I have sent my Excel file with macros referring for some functions to a dll file - apparently Excel 2013 fails to locate this dll file even if the full path is entered in the declarations (file not found error).
Have you ever come across such thing? Is there any solution to that?

yeah i did came across it when using different version of an OS or different version of Excel , so many reasons all depending on the DLL your refering to.
A bit more details like a name of the DLL could already tell us to look at excel level or to look at operating system level , or even another program.

Well,
The name of the dll is at this moment "Swopcje-ca.dll".
This is a file with functions acting more or less as Excel Solver (so optimization functions programmed in C++).
Below I paste the functions that link the VBA with dll in the testing environment.
Whatever it is - it works with my Excel 2010 and does not work with my friend's Excel 2013.

No, but he changed it to his path.
Even more - he says that the file works with ... Excel 97 (have no idea how he got this to check...)
