I need to be blind. I have attached those two files to get members started. to give you a background, at month end, the financial director produce a workbook that is distributed to the board. There is a sheet called scorecard that need to be copy and past to my dashboard template in order to populate KPI.. This file will populate not only KPI, but also produce individual dashboards to the service directors.
My idea is to bring all information in one place and play with formulae to link automatically to main dashboard (dropdown list) with the current financial period.
I have difficulty to do this first step, (ie copy and paste) one sheet called "scorecard" part of "Copy of 13-7 MA .xls (workbook) direct Y:\Users\ZohraBelabed\Zohra\MA\PD4\Copy of 13-7 MA.xls to "dashboard template" workbook under a sheet name "Scorecarddata.xls".
I was thinking instead of a command to use an input form to show the path directory of the file but was concerned if it was efficient. So after deliberation, I was more keen to a command button to select the scorecard sheet which the cons is that I will need to change the period at each financial month. I have no clue how to do that.
The dashboard template will be the main master file where data will be updated. Furthermore, I will keep an audit trail by period of the financial information enabling service managers to select their period to view under the dashboard
But one think at the time
