I want to run a shell script in my unix server from my local excel using vba. Is this possible?

You will need to use windows ftp commands(access a DOS shell) because native ftp is not supported in vba (as far as i know)
Also you will need to setup a decent wentwork connection between them so my advice go to a UNIX forum refer for the connecting advice on server (unix) and client (winsock)

I can't read the mind of my wife so then I get picture but no sound .... and then I mostly get the idea, same goes here picture your outcome and I get the idea.
