Kindly see attached spreadsheet calculator.
My intention with the "Margin Dialpad" buttons to the left is to simply clear out the cell values that are displayed in row 46, and subsequently calculate with a Goal Seek function the margin as you can see it when pressing a button on the "Margin Dialpad".
Two questions/issues:
1) In case you selected "Operating / True Lease" in cell E24, you have to also select a balloon payment in the highlighted cell in red in line 38. In the attached example I had selectd 9%.
Once you made a percentage selection, I like the "Margin Dialpad" buttons to skip all calculation, except for the selected term length. In the attached example it is 60 months. Of course I like that skipping logic to change if a different term length was selected and different cells in row 46 are empty.
In summary: I like this calculation only to execute when there is a value to be found in cells in row 38.
2) When hitting the "Margin Dialpad" buttons: Instead of the calculation running through from left to right, column by column, I was hoping there is a way to combine the routine into one step and have them all calculate at the same time. Just like it deletes all values when you first hit the button. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Cheers,
Axel
