An example is this link below. I am looking for view count information on all songs that happen to be on page 1, page 2, page 3.... etc.
http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...del+rey&page=1
In attachment enclosed you will see my results from making a simple web query. It's crude and not very useful to me in it's current state. This is pretty much where I need help as my abilities do not go any further.
Ideally, what I need is an automated macro and/or query that will.
A. Go to this link
B. Extract all information
C. Date and time stamp it.
D. Save it.
In this case in 5 minute intervals.
- I do not want to override any previously saved data.
- In this case, all I need is:
A. The title. In this case the first title is in row 86.
B. Who it's by (row 89)
C. When it came out (row 90)
D. The amount of views.
The same formula works for additional songs. (IE: 2nd song is row 96, who is row 99, came out is row 100 and view is row 101.
The rest of the data is useless and can be discarded. Ideally would love this to all be in the row going horizontally instead of the current vertical.
Further, in this case it's a bit interesting, as Lana Del Rey has multiple pages of songs on Youtube. I need an option to view all pages, and of course I have no idea how to do this.
Would also need it to go and create a new worksheet once the first one has reach 30,000 rows.
Challenging ? Any takers ?
Thanks !
