Microsoft Office 12.0 Object Library Filename and Location?

Does anyone know the file location for the Microsoft Office 12.0 Object Library reference?

I'm running Excel 2007 on a Windows 7 machine and when I open the references window the file name and location is cut off because I can't stretch the window wider.

    All I can read is:

    Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFIC

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you open Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder you know then search?

PS Why do you want to know where it is?

Re: Microsoft Office 12.0 Object Library Filename and Location?

I've gone to the folder. It's the OFFICE12 folder. I was wondering if anyone knew the filename because there are about 50 different DLL's in there.

After more Googling I believe it's the MSO.DLL file.

I want to know which one it is because I'm debugging a weird problem on one of my computers. I have 4 computers at work and a macro I've written works on 3 of them. The 4th one generates runtime errors whenever a chart is created. It's as if the charting library isn't there. I suspect there has been either a registry error or a corrupted reference file on the machine. So I want to restore the reference files back to their original ones from my MS Office DVD.

Have you checked the references on the machine you are having problems with?

Is that maching running a different version of Excel/Office than the others?

Ya, I've checked all of them. They all have the same references checked, same version of VBA, Office and Windows 7. They're all running the same service packs too. I'm almost at the point of doing a full uninstall and reinstall of Office. I wanted to check each individual reference file for possible corruption first.
