Help with Filter

I'm having trouble filtering...

I want to be able to hide the lines that have "Estimate Data" in column D. Regular filtering won't work because in many cases it's a merged cell. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This is on the "List" tab of my spreadsheet.

My suggestion is to not merge cells. They look nice but cause so many problems when it comes to functionality of workbooks. This was something I was told early on as an Excel developer.

Thanks Mordred. I was thinking the same thing, but it seems like I'll still have a problem. So if there were 4 rows that were "Estimate Data" for a specific group, and I just entered "Estimate Data" in the first row. When I ran my filter the others would show up as blanks so they would either stay (when I want them filtered off), or I would have to filter out "Blanks" and I want the blanks to stay under other headings. Did that make sense?
