Why is Excel trying to open Outlook? How can I stop it?

Solved. I created an object in object view mode but I didn't properly delete it. Only way I found it was by selecting the whole form and I could see there was a selection around a blank space. I highlighted it and deleted it and problem solved. Thanks. Hope this helps someone else.
