Hi, Excel friends & experts! I am trying to copy columns of data to fixed columns in a new sheet. The reason is data copied in to the 'Copy Data'! tab constantly changes column header names and positions. The user can note what the column data is by doing the following:
1. copy data beginning in 'Paste Data'!A5
2. At the top of the sheet, the user inputs the column letters from Row 4 that correspond to what the data reflects based on the options listed. If one of the options does not apply, leave it blank.
Problem:
Need to copy the column from sheet "Paste Data" that aligns with the letter to the correct column in sheet "Clean" where I have noted which column should be pasted in each respective column.
Is there a code that can do this automatically that is triggered when cells in sheet "Paste Data" B1, D1,D2,F1,F2,H1,H2,J1,J2,L1 change? I would like to leave all data in the sheet "Copy Data" and not delete anything. I prefer no button to trigger the event but instead execute if there is a change to value of the mentioned cells B1,D1, ETC.
Problem 2
I would like to then copy from sheet "Clean" to sheet "NO" if there is a "N" in column N and column L and M are blank.
A sample sheet is attached. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything and thank you very much to all those who help!
