Competition Template...No Spaces in Validation List needed.... manual calculation issues.

I attach a draft workbook which mimics a competition I'm going to be running.

It is a straight random knockout but I've made all the calculations manual as once the draw is made I don't want anyone changing it easily or to lose the randomizing effects. This is done via a randomize button which splits the competitors into pairs using a simple random, rank and index formula.

This randomizing is controlled via a password protected Button .....123 is the password.

For two rounds the drop down validation are both fine and visually correct. However, for the semi and final, there are large spaces, and I can't figure out how to remove them without losing the integrity of the worksheet.

Any suggestions chaps?
