gather elements into homogenous groups

Hello all,

First post here! Thanks all for your past contributions, some of them turned out to be very useful for me on other issues.

Here is my problem, which i will try to define as best as i can (and in the best English i can): in line 1, i have 44 products and below them i list the models on which they malfunction. What i would like to do is make different homogenous groups of these 44 products based on the models on which they fail.

Can a macro do this for me?
I have not defined precisely the number of groups i need in the end, but any number between 2 and 8 would do. The size of each group can vary. Can the macro actually determine itself the optimal size and number of the different groups?

I attach the source date. Btw, the model number means nothing, i.e. M1 and M2 are no closer than M1 and M1589. Column 1 is made of models with consecutive numbers, but again, that is meaningless.

Any precision you may need, let me know. Thanks in advance.
