stop excel 2013 macro from auto run

From previous versions of Excel, I can hold shift and open the file to prevent the macro from auto run. This doesn't work anymore in 2013, does anyone know if the keys changed?

Thank you! I've searched but couldn't find it. Just in case some one is experiencing the same issue. Below is the answer from Laffyaffy13's link.

1) Open a new blank Microsoft Excel
2) Click Office Buttom
3) Click Open
4) Click Desktop
5) Click only one time on your program
6) Make a Right Click on your program
7) Press and hold down "Shift" key
8) Click to "Select" in the list
9) When the program is opened, release "Shift" key.
