Should do. I did the same a while back and I had no problem???

Could you possibly post a sample workbook with some code that is not working?
Be fore warned, I regularly post drunk. So don't take offence (too much) to what I say.

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day...

    Hi Andy..

I dont think.. its a case of PtrSafe related problem.. as you are already "Confident on your Ability".. there must be something else..

    Please have a look. here..

    http://compinfopro.com/enable-vba-microsoft-excel/

    and here too..
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/wordoneno...nctioning.aspx

but they are very rare case.. of bad installation.. of CAB file missing..
    Regards!

Thanks guys... I'm beavering away at it... I was just venting my frustration

It's basically the API's need modifying with PTRSafe and the "common controls" OCX is not available so I can't use Treeview ... (AND I've only just learned how to use that so I'm throwing Teddy out of the pram)
