Find and replace words with a wildcard

Hi I am researching how to find and replace text in a sheet. I have this code but it is just like using the find and replace function in Excel, which is quite redundant. Is there anyway I can set a wildcard to search for pieces of a word and replace it with the word I want. I have a sample worksheet here and I want to replace the instances of "b,mena", "b.mena" and "bmena" with "Ballymena"

What happens if you include wildcards in what you enter in the first inputbox?

Why not use Ctrl+H
Find what *mena
Replace with ballymena

Click "Replace All"

I didn't know you could do that within the find and replace function. I'm just a cog in the wheel guys, I get asked to do something and I try and do it for the others in my department. Thanks for the help guys

You can use wildcards in the Find and Replace function.
Just remember that to search for a wildcard ( like *) you should look for ~*
