Convert this private sub to public sub to work

I have a private sub that will automatically active when cell F5 change. Is there any way that convert this macro to public sub so that I can activate it when I hit a form button? this is my code

All you have to do is change the two lines.

Line1:

Line2: Delete it you dont need it.

I used to do that but it did not work

I just noticed this is using the target cell in the macro,

replace each occurrance of target with

What exactly does the macro do?

the macro is to hide records that populate after searching the string in F2.
