    Syntax Error

    I have the following line which is supposed to input this code in a specific cell...

     ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=SUBSTITUTE(remspecial2(D2)," ","")"
    I am getting a syntax error because of the ""

    Ideas?

    Ignoring that for the moment, what is remspecial?

    And you have an A1 (D2) reference in a R1C1 formula.
