    Testing Scores for Multiple Testers

I have a spreadsheet with answers to 120 questions from 50 testers. Answers are A,B,C,D, or E.

I need to convert the answers to a numeric value where the correct answer for each question will be 1 and the incorrect answer will be 0.

Attached is an example of what I have to work with.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

will the result be in that format - can you change the layout - so the answers are horixontal then a simple formula

    then a simple =IF(B3=K$2,1,0)
    could be used and copied

i tried to copy an example and it failed - i'll try again

The attachment is exactly what I need. Is there a way to have the new data in a second sheet?

Yes. Simply cut and paste the new table wherever you want.
