I want 3 macros called R, and G, and B.
I select a cell, then I hit R and the font color goes to RED. Done
G goes to green.
and B goes to blue.

Say you wanted to type the word READING into a cell after selecting it. How would Excel know that you were actually typing the letter R and didnt want to change the font colour?
Same question for G and B.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
try to record a macro, name it ctrl+r (for red) and you find yourself a solution. you'll feel better!![]()
