    create hyperlink

    Hello !
    I Have a databse in access with 11 fields for devices. I have a userform that shows all device in a listbox that need to be checked for tests! I want to link the device that i select in the listbox to an excel file .

    For example I open my userform with the devices in the listbox then i select a device and press a button that will ask me to search for the file I want to link the device with (the excel file already exist) and then save the path so when i click another time on the button it opens directly the file!

    I don't know at all how does this work!!!!
    Can someone help me please?

    The form where I show all devices that have to be tested? When I open the EXCEL file it direct run the interface userform there I have a button for test check when I press it it opens me the form with listbox that shows me devices that have to be tested!


    Between I tried this code to create a hyperlink but I have an error message that says: " Active X can't create objects"

    Tried this it's not working too.. it says that the type defined by user is not defined!!
