    Calculate event triggers a macro

I wish to change the background colour of a cell containing a formula when the value shown in the cell goes over a certain threshold. For example the sales target is 100, until the value in the cell reaches 100 the background is red, and then when it reaches 100 it turns green to indicate that the target has been reached. I have VBA that will change the colours as I wish but I need this macro to be triggered when the formula result changes. Calculate event?

Why not just use conditional formatting?

Thank you - that works exactly how I wanted - I wasn't familiar with this feature
