Auto generation of ticks and date entry over multiple ranges

Hi Guys....I'm a tad stuck again, so kindly ask for your help!!!

I have a worksheet where if the user double clicks on a range in column D, the date and time will self generate in corresponding values in columns F and G. However, I would like this to only be possible IF there is an entry in the corresponding cell in column B. Additionally, i would like it possible to adapt the code I currently have to include a single column e.g. column H so that only a tick will appear if the user double clicks the corresponding cell in that column (again only if there is something in the corresponding cell in col B).

I attach a dummy sheet, and really hope that you can help!!

    Thanks for looking.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately it is not quite what I require.

The double click on Columns D and H don't work with your code (no date or time is added to Columns F and G), nor does the requirement that if there is nothing in column B then Columns D-H should be blank. I would be grateful if you could have another go as I am truly stuck!!!!

    Again, Thanks for looking,

    Hi Krabine,

    That is very very close.

Would you be able to make the ticks in H column independent of Column D? So that Column H follows the same rules as column D...e.g. if Column B is blank then Column H would be blank....

Thanks for looking and your code.....I'm still learning and appreciate all the help!!!

So you when D is double clicked it populates the other rows except H? and then you have to double click H as well?
