I have inherited a very large tool inventory Master Sheet (approx 3700 tools) and was asked to break the master sheet into sub-sheets. The sub-sheets would represent each storage location (38 locations). I would like to be able to just make a change on the master list and have it auto fill the sub-sheet. Part of my problem is that this is an ever changing inventory (adding new tools, deleting old tools, etc...). I attempted to use the formula ='Master List'!A4 and filled it through each sheet. the problem with that was when i added a new row for a new tool or delete a row for a destroyed tool, it threw off all of the sub-sheets... is there a better way to do this?
