Fourth digit selection with macro

Hi,

i would like to take only the fourth digits and what there is after. here an example: 053133348. I would like to be able that excel start from the first character and filter based on the fourth digit only...So basicly, the macro would reconize that there is always 3 digits BEFORE the fourth one..and based on the fourth digital, he would then filter what's left..i am thinking about something like this: ***13040404 or ***2393994. The final goal is to filter datas based on number 1-9...


Any help?

Add another column with a formula to extract from the 4th digit on and then filter on that column.

Doing this would imply that I need to modify other macro attached to other column!!!
