Have checkbox(es) in Column L appear/disappear when clearing data in Column A

Hello All,

This is my first time posting on excelforum even though I use it quite often. I currently have a spreadsheet that I data enter numbers in Column A. I need checkboxes to appear when there is something in Column A or disappear when "A" is empty. I feel like I am pretty close, but for some reason the check boxes always appear on the screen whether there is something is in Column A or not.

I forgot to mention, I have a command button that logs all my data and clears the content in range A3:A200. I had another macro that worked fine when changing one cell at a time, the error was born when I attempted to changed several cells at one time.
