incorporate the formatting from the “Partial” column to the “Complete”?

    Dear Excel Expert,

Can you please help with the following:

(This question is reproduced with examples in the attachment)
I have two columns of equal length, of names, and the names are adjacent to each other. One column called “Complete” has the full name, the second column, called “Partial” has part of the name and some formatting like bold and/or the first letter or couple of letters of the partial name black and the rest of the partial name blue or red, or the background blue or yellow; and the formatting varies from name to name. Is there a function or macro that can incorporate the formatting from the “Partial” column to the “Complete”? And the letters in the resulting “Completed” column that are different than the “Partial” column need to be in pink(see below). I am using Excel 2003. I also need to be able to copy and past the results(including the formatting) to a different location preferably without any formulas or functions attached to the cells.

    Thank you very much,

    Andrew
