    Run Macro from Another Computer

I posted this question on a vb.net forum and was told to post it on an excel forum so here it is. Is there any way I can run an excel in an open excel file, located on one computer, from a completely different computer. The two computers are connected to the same network. But I want to be able to update information in an excel file real time, even if it is being accessed by another user.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    To be "Blunt" no.

You can set a workbook to be "Shared" so more than one user can update it at the same time.
A shared workbook is great when more than one person is updating it manually, unfortunately VBA cannot be used on shared workbooks.
