macro to connect to sql server database and retrieve data

can we connect to sql server database through macro..?

if possible can anyone tell the syntax for that...

Yes, but you don't need a macro, you can use the import data wizard

ya i know but going through import data wizard is a manual process ,i want to automate it by writing a macro... through macro i want to get the data from sql server database.. is der any code related to the above requirement if yes, please provide the solution
