Post consolidate and update the details in one sheet together

    Hi,

Everyday we will get lot of files to work on them which is having a quote number to identify the files.

We will distribute these files to our team which are of 40 people ,each can do 25 files a day.

We are having main sheet with all of teh quote numbers we got today, so at the end of he day will go to each member and manually the files they done and we will update in the main sheet as 'done' in one column and respective person name in another column.

As it is consuming 2 hours aday to do this, But I need to do this using Excel macros.

Please let me know if required more info and help us, Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Sarath

Do you have some sample files that you can upload? Dummy data will do, as long as the format matches the original files.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.
