Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and was hoping someone could give me some guidance. I've created a simple table which includes columns named Aircraft Reg, Aircraft type, last inspection date, time since inspection, notes and the last column includes a button with a macro which changes the last inspection date for that row to todays date.
I would like to keep each columns data 'locked' so when I sort the data it moves up/down as a complete row.
I would like to sort the data using the time since inspection data in ascending order.
My idea was to have the aircraft which had been inspected the longest time ago at the top of the list. Once that aircraft had been inspected you simply press the button, changing the last inspection date for that aircraft to todays date. The list would then be sorted automatically so the aircraft that had just been inspected would now be at the bottom of the list showing '0' in the time since inspection column.
If you could provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated. I can attach the file if this is any help.
Steve
