macro for reformatting anc copying to existing workbook

Dear Forum Members, need some help. I have an excel file with information formatted one way and need this information to be added to an existing workbook and reformatted so it will work together with the rest of the existing workbook. Looking for a macro of some sorts to make this a few button clicks, instead of copying and pasting and reformatting. This action needs to be repeated multple times on a daily basis, hence the need for a macro. Any help would be grately appreciated.

    Thanks,

Sure, why dont you attach a sample file so we can help you better? The format should be the same as your original file. You can put in dummy data.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

    Hi Arlu1201,

Thanks for the quick repsonse. I attached 2 files. One( test data) is the output of data as it will come in. the other one (ACE QIS Expirement) is the destination file. Some of the data elements will not be required, some will. Please let me know if I need to be more specific. The fields to be populated on the destination file are highlighted in yellow on the tab 'diligence sheet'.

    Thanks in advance
