Self Populating Delivery Ticket in Excel

    Good morning,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this. Let me start by saying I work for a small manufacturing company that is currently unwilling to invest in an ERP system, so we have many Excel documents we use to consolidate and sort our data. At this time, our shipping clerk types each delivery ticket by hand for every load sent out (almost 20 per day). This is very time consuming and I am looking for a way to make this process more efficient.

I do not have Access, so I have to work in Excel. I need a delivery ticket (BOL) that has the following functions:

    1. Automatically regenerates numbers sequentially (Macro already in place)

    2. Automatically fills in customer information and has the option to choose from a drop down menu for different products used by that specific customer. (For example, in the "Ship To" field, once I choose the correct customer from a drop down menu, I would like to have the other drop down fields already populated with ONLY the materials and products specific to that particular customer. This is something that is involved in most ERP systems, and is present in SAP and Oracle systems as far as I know.)

Thanks so much for the help...I hope this makes sense.

    Welcome to the board.

Your request is pretty common, but without a sample workbook to work with, we're not going to get anywhere fast.

Scroll down to Go Advanced, then scroll down once more and choose Manage Attachments.

Include extra sheets showing the expected results as well as popup balloons describing requirements.
