Using SUM & OFFSET combination getting a RUNNING TOTAL with changing Start & End Points.

Using SUM & OFFSET combination getting a RUNNING TOTAL with changing Start & End Points.

    Dear Forum,
I need to get a RUNNING BALANCE based on certain conditions, like the Start Range would depend on the most smallest date in a Column for that particular Month of that specific year and up to the last day of the same month of that specific year..

    For Ex:

Column B contains all dates arranged serially..
Column D contains the Daily Interest...

Now lets say if the Starting Date in the cell B2 is 28-Mar-2013 and it ends till 22-Aug-2013 all in a chronological order..
And in CEll D2 contains the Daily Interest then it will remain unchanged unless anything is paid in advance so lets say if we have lets say Rs 25 in cell D2,D3,D4,D5...So in the column E I want the RUNNING Balance from CELL D2 till CEll D5 and then again for the next month 1-Apr-2013 till 30-Apr-2013 changing the starting point from CEll D6 till Cell D35 ..

    Warm Regards

Re: Using SUM & OFFSET combination getting a RUNNING TOTAL with changing Start & End Point

Is there a way of finding the MIN Date from a Range of Dates like 1st-Apr-2013 will be the Minimum date in the current month till date and the Max being TODAy i.e. 9-Apr-2013.

In this requirement I need to keep on Moving the Range of SUMMATIONS from the Min date of that month to the Max date of the same month and contine further..
